Professional woman looking for a flatshare
I'm a 23 year old woman just finishing my masters at the London School of Economics. As I'm writing this I'm working on my dissertation and working at a pub part time but have a good chunk of money saved up for the next few months and am applying to work at NGO's as well. Because I am American on a student visa which runs out at the end of January, I can't commit to living anywhere past that time until I (hopefully) get a job that will sponsor a work visa, so need a short let at the moment.
I'm a fairly quiet person, and very respectful and conscientious. I generally enjoy a night in a bit more than nights out partying, but I love meeting new people and learning new things. I have very diverse tastes so there's bound to be something we have in common :)
I've lived in London for 5 years so I have good knowledge of the city and can provide references for past residences. I love to cook so I'd prefer a flat with a decent kitchen - doesn't have to be luxurious, just a bit of counter space! Also need either space for a desk or a desk already as I have a pretty big computer/gaming set up that I'd like to maintain.
I'd like to live with flatmates who are conscientious and sociable, but who can respect my privacy and my need for alone time every so often. I'd prefer to live in an already mixed flat or one with only women. I'm very down to earth and approachable, and I'm always smiling. I'm well versed and love a chat over tea or drinks. I love a good TV series so if you're someone who likes stuff like Game of Thrones, Doctor Who and Sherlock then I'll be good company! It'd be a major plus to live with people who are politically left-wing. Also must be LGBT-friendly.
I can move from around the 10th of September as my tenancy agreement for my current flat ends on the 13th. Can do a couple days earlier or later of course.
Email or text message is preferred. If you need to call, feel free to leave a message if I don't answer.
