Friendly and social house in Aldgate

We're a sociable flat, both professionals working in central London (one for an architecture firm, the other for the civil service). We work normal hours and are often around the house outside work, although we also have separate lives outside.

We are looking for a couple who will contribute socially and practically to the house. We prefer a couple to keep bills at the current level (£37. 50 excluding quarterly gas and electric). We like to keep it a tidy and pleasant place (we're potentially looking to get a cleaner in once a week). We also like to go for a beer together or have people round from time to time. We have both traveled extensively, enjoy music and play and watch sports, and are active on the weekends especially. We'd like to live with a couple who want to be part of the household, not stay in their room all the time.

We have a big shared living space with a dining table and two big leather sofas. Also there is a TV with netflix and internet for the occasional movie night (see photos). We also have a fully stocked kitchen and washing machine and drying racks.

The flat is 5 mins walking from Aldgate East, and 10 mins from Shadwell, Aldgate and Whitechapel. It's also 10 mins from Brick Lane and 20 mins from Shoredtich so well placed for getting around London and going out in the evenings. The area is safe and secure and quiet for central/East London.

The ad is for the biggest room in the flat, easily big enough for a couple. Its got a big south facing window (double-glazed), a large double wardrobe with full-length mirror, a double bed, chest of draws, bookcase and desk and chair (see photos).

The minimum stay is 4 months, which is insisted from the landlord. The room is available immediately.
