This is a great double room to rent in a lovely flat on the edge of Bermondsey / London Bridge. The house is an open plan living, kitchen, and dining area as you enter. Head downstairs and you come to the two basement rooms and the recently renovated bathroom. The flat forms part of an old converted pub on Abbey Street.

Bermondsey is a really great area, which is just getting better with time! Maltby Street Market is 2 minutes around the corner (definitely worth a visit), as well as Bermondsey Street, which is packed with bars, restaurants, boutiques and even a couple of free tennis courts in the park.

On a more practical note, there's a new Tescos at the end of the street and Sainsbury's at the other- catering to any taste.

Transport is particularly speedy around here: Bermondsey tube is a 7 mins walk away, with London Bridge only 14 mins away as well. Lots of buses stop very close by including the C10 outside the door, which goes to Victoria with many useful stops along the way.

I'm 26, working in Canary Wharf and I've lived here for three years (and bought it last year). I'm easy-going, straightforward and generally am out and about a lot of the week. I'm looking for someone who's relaxed, clean and tidy and will take care of the place like I do.
