Double room available for 3-week summer let

My gorgeous double room is available for a short-term let as I'll be away for three weeks between 17 July and 4 August.

It's an exceptionally bright room with floor to ceiling windows, private balcony access and a tremendous view over the Regent's Canal and the surrounding area. It's fully furnished with double bed, vintage desk and fitted wardrobe.

The photo I've posted of the room doesn't nearly do it justice - it really is quite spectacular. Sadly, I'm not a very good photographer!

This modern 2-bedroom flat is situated on the canal between Bethnal Green and Mile End tubes. It's a new build, not ex-local. It has a concierge too. It's on the 5th floor and the spectacular balcony is south-facing so sun floods into the bedroom and the huge separate living room. There's also a modern kitchen and bathroom, lovely wooden floors, plus broadband, Netflix etc. All bills included.

You'd be sharing the home with my friend and flatmate Dennis, who is very nice. He's 34 and works full-time in the media.

The flat is in a great location. It's right next to Victoria Park and the canal, and a short walk to Mile End (8 mins) and Bethnal Green (10 mins) tube stations on the Central Line. Old Street, Shoreditch, Broadway Market etc are just up the road.

Non-smoker preferred unless you are prepared to smoke exclusively on the balcony, as Dennis does. Did I mention the balcony? It's enormous - like having a garden.

Looking for someone tidy, respectful, easy-going and friendly.

If you don't know Bethnal Green, it's a great area with some very cool pubs and great places to eat on your doorstep.

A perfect place for a summer trip to London.
