We have a furnished double room to rent in a bright, sociable and friendly flat over looking Victoria Park in Bethnal Green.

The room comes with a double bed with built-in storage in the base, a chest of drawers, and a built in wardrobe and cupboard.

The flat has just been redecorated throughout with a brand new kitchen and solid oak wood flooring, as well as sofa and sitting room furniture. The bathroom was recently installed just the previous year with a walk in power-shower.

We have an open-plan kitchen and living room. A balcony with tables and chairs overlooking Regents canal and the park, perfect for brunches and evening drinks. For those who don't know Victoria Park, it's surrounded by independent, characterful pubs and quirky cafes. It's a hive of sporting activity and in the summer months it's home to music festivals, such as All Points East, to which we are eligible for free ticket lotteries as residents. Despite all this activity, it remains a peaceful part of East London.

Services: We have Virgin Media and broadband, and a 42 inch TV.

Transport links: Bethnal Green underground and Cambridge Heath overground is 10 minutes walk, Bethnal Green overground is 15 minutes.

Eats and treats: We are a 2 minute walk from a host of lively pubs including the Approach, the Royal Inn on the Park and The Crown, and 10 minutes walk from both Broadway market and Bethnal Green village restaurants and bars. A large Tescos is only a 15 minute walk away, and an express Tescos and Sainsburys are closer still.

You will be sharing with three sociable flatmates; Jack, Siobhan and James (a couple), aged between 29 and 36. Jack works in post-production for film and TV, Siobhan works in design, whilst James works in the arts and technology. All enjoy the usual stuff; the odd evening in the pub, cooking and sport/fitness...occasionally. We like to hang out in the evenings, but also have our own lives - each has quite a different working schedule so we all leave the house at different times.

The price of the room is £700 a month, with council tax, broadband & Virgin Media, Energy and TV license; an additional payment of £56pm. Additionally, we have a water bill which we pay every 6 months. We also have a cleaner who comes every other week (works out about £17 each per month).

We have made our flat a home, and we're looking for a tidy, sociable person to come and join the crew.

Viewings will be held on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th March. The occasional viewing might be possible to arrange on the weekend, depending on dates.
