Bright double room for Monday to Friday let in 2-floor flat in gated development off Great Dover Street.

The flat is on the top two floors of a four-floor building in a secure gated development (Chadwick Square). The flat faces onto an internal courtyard (as seen in the photos) so there is no street noise.

There are two bedrooms in the flat, each on a separate floor and each with its own bathroom so you won't have to share.

The flat is very bright and luminous with high ceilings extending up to the second floor in the lounge area. The kitchen is on the lower floor off the lounge, with the dining area on the upper floor mezzanine.

There are all the mod cons - washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, broadband/wifi, etc. But no TV. All bills are included, which also covers a weekly cleaner. Bedding and towels can be provided.

The location is fantastic for someone working centrally or in the City. It's an 8-10 minute walk to Borough station, under 15 minutes to London Bridge (less if you take a shortcut), and about 10 minutes to Elephant & Castle. There are good bus routes into town from Great Dover Street, New Kent Road and Newington Causeway.

There's a Barclay's Bike Hire station at the end of the road (about 90 metres away) and another on the other side of the development around the corner (about 300 metres). If you have your own bike, you can store it in the secured bike shed which has an alarm. Car parking is also available at an additional charge.

I work as a project manager on EU-funded urban transport projects and often work long hours. I also have to travel frequently. It's therefore important to me that my home environment be calm and relaxing. I'm looking for a tenant who is considerate, tidy, and not a partier, but who's happy to have a friendly chat together.

I speak fluent French, Italian and Spanish, so would be happy to have a native speaker of one of those languages staying in the flat.
