Hello flat-hunters :) My lovely flatmate is moving (sad times), leaving free a lovely double room in our quirky flat just off Brick Lane. Come see it, it's fab!

The flat is in a gated, secure building called The Bath House - it used to be Victorian baths in the late 1800s, so is full of character (and I mean that in a good way). We're actually at the back of the development, in a new extension, so there's all the interest without the damp or creakiness of an old building. There's a lovely communal courtyard with a pond (there's even fish!), where people keep their bikes and you can sit out in on a sunny day.

The Bath House is located just at the end of Cheshire Street, which is a really cool side-street just off Brick Lane, full of cute cafes, pubs and vintage shops (we're opposite Beyond Retro!). Weaver's Fields (nice park) is just behind the flat, Bethnal Green tube (central line) & overground are only 5 to 10mins walk away, as is Shoreditch High Street overground, and Liverpool Street (central) and Aldgate East (district) tube are just slightly further. Tons of bus routes too - so lots of handy transport links. All the best places in London are within walking distance - Columbia Road, Old Street, Spitalfields, Shoreditch, Bethnal Green, London Fields, Hackney, Hoxton - what's not to love?! It's right in the thick of things but yet it's really quiet and safe - I always get a good night's sleep and have never felt scared walking around even late at night.

The room is cosy, quiet and our landlord is happy for you to put up pictures, etc to make it your own. There's a comfy bed, chest of drawers, chair and wardrobe already there. We've a big bathroom (which has just been done up) with loads of hot water, and a spacious yet cosy living room too, with picture windows and a lovely view. Also a good-sized kitchen.

You'll be living with me - Clara. I'm a 22 year-old Dubliner working in the City, I moved to London 8 months ago. I couldn't love this area or my flat more. I work in finance and am a hard working gal. I am working and studying at the moment, so that keeps me busy during the week so I like to chill in the evenings and at the weekend make the most of the local markets and then also enjoy quirky hotspots around here! I am looking for a flatmate who is a working professional too and someone who I can can hang out with in the evenings with a glass of wine!! :)

Council tax, electricity and phone/broadband are extra - but they're not much more than 100 quid a month all in all.

My flatmate is planning to move out at the end of Feb so it would be fab if you'd be ready to move in around then.
