We live in a great victorian house with high-quality and spacious living areas, plenty of light and a big garden.

Located in a quiet & safe residential area, but only a short walk to brockley / new cross / nunhead high streets. Only SIX min walk for trains to Shoreditch, Dalston, London Bridge, Blackfriars, Victoria, Elephant & Castle...12min walk from Goldsmiths College and a 20min cycle to central London. Fantastic Telegraph Hill park for midnight views of London only a 2minute walk.

The room is only guaranteed to be available for six months as someone has reserved it for next May, however a room in this or a neighbouring house a few doors down by same landlords often comes up.

The room measures a massive 15ft5 x 14ft8 (4. 7m x 4. 5m). As you can see from the pictures, it has a LOT of floor space. It is well lit, has a big bay window, double glazing well sound-proofed from the street and internally quiet. The bedroom is beautifully decorated with wooden flooring and a massive fitted wardrobe.

-----People----

We're from all over the place (Italy, UK, Malta) and have all seen bits of the world. Ages span the twenties/thirties, but we're a pretty open bunch. 3guys/1girls (4 people total in house). We're a mix of people - post-grad students (music production), musicians and employed (software, catering).

We all have our own interests and everyone is busy with their lives, but like to get together sometimes for dinners and going out to gigs, parties, etc.

----Transport and local area-----

Well served by buses day time and night time.

Brockley and New Cross Gate are served by the East London Line, so Shoreditch in 15min or connections with Jubilee line in 10. As stated above, you can be in London Bridge 15min after leaving the house.

Peckham, Lewisham and Deptford high streets are not far away, easy cycles for any major shopping and there's a large Sainsbury's at the bottom of Telegraph hill near New Cross Gate station.

Brockley is great - there's a farmers market, 2 mini markets near by, lots of cafes, organic food shops, music venues/pubs with live bands within a short distance. Very safe area, and night buses a plenty. Nunhead has a butchers, fishmongers, bakers (amazing) - within 10min walk of the house.

Bills average around £80pcm (more in winter, less in summer) and include communal cleaning products, toilet paper and a cleaner who comes every few weeks to give a thorough clean to bathrooms and kitchen.
