Double room in lovely house

We’re looking for an easy-going, cheerful guy or girl to share our large, lovely home on the Camberwell borders. We are a digital designer (f) and an architect (m) who have shared together for a few years, with our third housemate now leaving to move in with her boyfriend.

The house faces right onto Burgess Park; to the rear we have our own secluded garden.

The kitchen is the hub of our house and where we tend to sit together. It is also well equipped and includes a double oven, large gas hob, dishwasher and a nice dining area. We do have a TV but we’re definitely not avid watchers. We’re both clean and tidy but to help us out we have a cleaner who comes once a week to look after the communal areas.

You will be sharing the first floor and a great bathroom with just one other. The bedroom itself is a double and has a lot of storage space. It’s a bright room overlooking our garden.

We are both keen cyclists enjoying our daily commute; bikes can be stored in the hallway. If you’re not so good on two wheels, London Bridge or Elephant and Castle are just 10 minutes by bus. There is a good selection of buses which stop at the top of the road, including 3 night buses which make getting home that bit easier. And parking is very easy on our road (with a permit).

Ideally, we are looking for a 30+ level-headed person to share our home, the daily grind and an occasional glass of wine or movie. If you are interested, please do get in touch with Juliette, our landlady; you are welcome to come and view the room and meet us.
