Room in Beautiful House in Central Camden/ Chalk F

Bright sunny newly decorated small double room available in the heart of Bohemian Camden.

My artistic house is a quiet sanctuary just steps away from the famous Camden Market and is proven to be a very comfortable home away from home. It really is a beautiful house!.

Mon- Fri or Full time lets are considered and negotiable.

The Room:

The room has a double bed (new bed and mattress from Warren Evans) with a new comfy duvet and king size pillows. There is a sliding door double wardrobe unit with full length mirror shelf space and a desk/ dressing table with mirror and 3 x draws. Huge amounts of shelving in the room as well as storage under the bed- on top and inside the wardrobe. There is also a 5 drawer cupboard available. The bedroom window overlooks the landscaped garden and the house is generally quiet but very quiet at the back of the house where the room is located. The bathroom (bath and shower attachment) is sometimes shared and there’s is an additional cloakroom toilet near the bedroom. Access to the lounge, garden and kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, oven, gas hob, fridge/ freezer and washing machine) is also available.

The Tenant and Occupants:

This situation would suit a sociable mature person who loves travelling and meeting people from around the world but equally needs peace, tranquility and quiet. The house has two bedrooms. I have short term let’s in the second (master) bedroom (min 3 night stays with max 2 guests) and get about 60% occupancy - mainly at weekends but sometimes in the week. My last long term tenant who stayed in the advertised room had the house to himself on many days. He also took the option of renting the master bedroom out when it was available for visiting friends.
As there are short term lets in the master bedroom, the whole house is regularly cleaned each week and is very tidy. The homeowner (myself) visits the house routinely, staying the occasional night but base myself mainly in The Cotswolds.
