Double room in beautiful Clapton house

We are looking for a laid-back, personable housemate to live in our really quite nice Clapton home.

The property is a recently-refurbished Georgian terrace on a quiet residential road between Clapton Pond and Hackney Downs. There's a decent-sized kitchen, large living room and cool garden with patio and BBQ. The available bedroom is the upstairs front room, which has just been repainted and re-carpeted. It's large and bright, with double bed, fitted cupboards, chest of drawers etc.

I'm the owner - a 32-year-old-journalist. The other tenant has just completed his Masters. I work pretty long hours, but like to hang out a bit in the evening, whether in a local pub or at home cooking/watching TV. We're looking for someone relaxed, easy-going and with broadly similar interests - it's a Radio 4/6Music/Newsnight/Modern Family sorta house. Clean, tidy and willing to do share of chores go without saying...

As everyone knows, Clapton is amazing. Lots of great pubs (Hart, Russet, Star, Windsor Castle), restaurants (Verden, Maeve's, Little Ivy) and food shops (Palm 2, Tesco) within 5 mins walk.

Rent covers all bills including Sky TV. We're both gay, but happy to live with anyone friendly.
