I have a lovely double furnished room to let in my flat, which is on the first floor in a well maintained and secure block, with access to a large, attractive shared garden - ideal for BBQs in the summer!

The room has a wooden floor, double bed, two new chests of drawers, a wardrobe and a bedside table - so plenty of storage. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, fridge freezer and microwave. The shared lounge is light and spacious, with a wooden floor, two large sofas (one is a sofa bed) flat screen TV and a folding table that will seat six people. The bathroom has recently been refurbished and has a bath with a good quality Aqua Lisa shower.

The flat is situated on the edge of leafy Hampstead Garden Suburb. It's a 30 second walk from a number of corner shops, cafes and bus stops, and a 15 minute walk from East Finchley station (zone 3 on the Northern line).

There are lots of lovely local pubs nearby and the flat is nicely sandwiched between Hampstead, Highgate and Muswell Hill – all of which are within walking distance. There is a very conveniently placed bus stop across the road – where you can be dropped off by the N20 night bus that comes right out from central London areas like Trafalgar Square, Euston and Tottenham Court Road. Daily buses also go regularly to Archway, Highgate, Finchley Central and Brent Cross. There is plenty of parking available near the flat, and easy access to the M1. There is also a Fitness First gym five minutes up the road.

The room is available from November. Non smokers please and sadly no pets are allowed in the building. As a rough guide, a half share of the bills (not included in the rent) works out at about £100 a month. This includes utilities, TV licence, council tax and broadband.

You'd be sharing with me, the owner/occupier - I work in operations at a charity, am friendly and easy going and have a busy social life. My ideal flatshare would also be easy going and friendly, considerate, happy to socialise but have their own social life too and take care of basics, eg cleaning and paying bills on time.
