Zone 1 - Smart room in wonderful apartment

Rent a spacious, light and airy double room in a wonderful apartment in Central London. Perfect for someone who wants somewhere nice to stay, to be able to cook a simple fresh meal and relax after work.

I am a 43 year old non smoking professional who is employed by the BBC, renting out my spare room. Within a secure gated development, the apartment is located in Elephant & Castle, Central London - Zone 1.

LOCATION
Just south of the river in Elephant & Castle, the apartment is very well located for transport links and most definitely within good commuting distance of any part of Central London.

Two underground stations are within a few minutes walk - Elephant & Castle and Kennington, serving the Bakerloo line and both branches of the Northern line. There are also many buses and an overground train service.

Local amenities are within a few minutes walk, where you can buy groceries and daily essentials. There are also a couple of gyms and a swimming pool in the local area.

BEDROOM
Your room is stylish and comfortable, mostly furnished from Habitat. There's an armchair for you to relax during the evening and a desk if you need to finish some work.

There's a wardrobe in the room for storage, which I am happy for you to leave things in over the weekend.

A cleaning service and fresh bed linen and towels are provided at no extra charge.

Wifi with unlimited internet usage is also available. The room comes with a Sony internet connected TV, where you catch up on programmes on the BBC iPlayer etc.

BATHROOM
Fluffy white towels can be found in the bathroom, which includes a cleaning service.

The bathroom would be just shared with myself. I'm not one of those people who spends an hour in the bathroom, I'm usually out in 5 minutes.

KITCHEN
The kitchen is equipped with all that you would expect, including a dishwasher and microwave.

There's also a washing machine and iron available should you wish to use them. Alternatively there is an on-site dry cleaning & laundry collection service.

LOUNGE
The lounge is available for you to relax in the evening if you wish.
