Double Room Available In Beautiful Period House

We are a gay couple. Working in film and tv as a Visual Effects Artist and in a Prison as a Guard. We work long hours and like to go traveling in our free time.
Our preference for the housemate is ok with pets.

We bought and renovated this victorian house. The house was built in 1890 and still retained some of the original features. Where possibly we have tried to keep these features but bring the building up to modern standards. We have plastered and painted every room and put expensive luxury carpets in the bedrooms, a high gloss walnut flooring downstairs and premium tiles in the kitchen. The room is a good size double with solid vintage furniture and a memory foam mattress.

fully fitted kitchen with all mod cons

a decent sized private garden with a summer house, BBQ.

a utility space, washing machine and dryer.

The house is situated 2 minutes walk from Wanstead Park Station, handy for North London and 5 minutes walk to Forest Gate Station. It’s only 10 minutes to Liverpool Street from here on the Elizabeth line. or a few minutes to Stratford which has the third best transport links in London including the central line and jubilee line. With the upgrade of Elizabeth Line going directly to Tottenham court road takes around 16 minutes!
There is also the 25 night bus which goes from Oxford street and passes through areas like Old Street.

Woodgrange road, our local high street has plenty of fruit and veg shops, butchers, a good fish mongers and a very small village style local market.

if that’s not your thing it is only a 20 minute walk or very short train journey to Westfields one of the largest urban shopping centres in Europe. there you’ll find up market shops, restaurants, Cinema, bowling alley etc...

also Stratford has a more affordable shopping centre and independent cinema

We have nice parks in the area, Wanstead flats ,jubilee pond and the entrance to Epping Forest. Have a look on google maps at Wanstead flat, it’s massive! great for training, walking and generally getting fresh air,

The rent includes all of the bills, council tax, water rates, gas, electric and Super fast fibre broadband (Wifi).

The deposit is a month’s rent and we would require that to be paid prior to moving in.
