Greenwich is a lovely town, with a strong pedestrian feel. Its runs along the river and has many public spaces for walking and socialising. Good theatre, markets, cinema and comedy clubs and exhibition events. In the summer Greenwich festival runs for 3 weeks which is great fun too.
