The room is a bright, recently-decorated extra-large double bedroom with a stunning view of the very large garden and Eltham Hill. There is a double bed, bedside table, large wardrobe, drawers and dressing table with mirror. Some furniture can be added or removed to suit your needs.

You will have access to a lush 200 metre garden complete with BBQ and overlooked by a balcony, both accessed via the large but cosy dining room. The dining room leads to a bright and spacious kitchen. Bed linen can be provided if necessary and a professional cleaner regularly cleans the communal areas (at no charge to the lodger).

The live-in landlord (my father Richard) is a sociable independent man in his 60s who is an ex-professional chef, football lover, keen traveller and history & politics fanatic. Both children have now left home and so he is looking for a respectful, tidy, independent and friendly lodger of any age. There are three rooms currently available to rent. As it is a large house, everyone has their own space.

Lee is a residential, green area of South East London with shops, pubs, restaurants, parks and a sports centre all within short walking distance. Lee train station is a 7 minute walk. Train connections include: 5 minutes to Lewisham for the DLR, 12 minutes to New Cross, 13 minutes to London Bridge and 25 minutes to Waterloo East, Charing Cross and Cannon Street. The nearest bus stops are 2 minutes away. Local bus connections include: Lewisham, Catford, Eltham, Blackheath Village and Bromley Town Centre. There is also a night bus from central London.

Rent: £650 per month (including all bills, WiFi, council tax, electricity, gas, water and cleaner).

Deposit: One month rent payable in advance.
