Room and Huge Studios to Let- Lewisham/Ladywell.

The Property is a renovation of an old Lift refurbishment building. Bills are all inclusive in the rent.

The building...
The renovations of the 7 bedrooms are light, fresh, reasonably spacious, and clean. The rooms have very high 14 foot ceilings, very good if you wanted to make a mezzanine in the room.

There are four bathrooms, with toilets and showers.
The living room/ kitchen area is a huge space, with misted windows from the shop all along one wall. There are many sofas. This area of the house has a lovely communal vibe, it is where people see each other.
The kitchen area is small but well equipped, attached to the living room area.
There is an upstairs courtyard area which is a good sun catcher. There are seats and decking outside there.
From the outside of the house there is a electric garage door which leads to the big spacious outside courtyard area. There is also access to this area from the house.
The courtyard area is typical of London, with terrace houses surrounding it. We are friendly with our neighbors.

The Studios...
From the courtyard area there is a Huge double barn door which is the entrance to one of the studios. It is light fresh and big in there.
The other studio is in the basement, which is particularly good for media work.

The living...
The current house mates are BA students studying at The Slade School of fine art, a painter, media working people, and a sculptor. Recently an MA student studying Goldsmiths has joined the group, she is originally from Holland.

The house is an open and friendly place, we are happy for people to be private or participating.

(As a group of artists we make good use of the studio spaces and since living here from September 2013, we have had three shows here, with another three planned before June including a performance weekend.
As an artist the studio space is an amazing opportunity to be taken advantage of.)

Transport...
The nationalrail train goes from Ladywell (2min walk) from there you are ten minutes to Charling Cross, London Bridge, Waterloo. It also passes near by like Peckham and Newcross.
The DLR (10 minute walk) runs from lewisham to many other places.
