Lovely double room in Lewisham (Zone 2)

Hi everyone, really good sized double room up for grabs. Plenty of room to swing a cat should you so desire. As you can see from the photos, I’ve easily managed to fit all my music gear in with plenty of space left for a bed and armchair.

The room comes furnished with the bed, bedside table, wardrobe and the chest of drawers – or the landlord can get rid of them if you want to go unfurnished. Heating is included in the rent and the flat is right above the boiler, which means the flat is gorgeously warm in the winter months. Effectively you get under floor heating! The rest of the bills aren't included and come to around £90 each. This includes things like TV license, phone and internet (decent speed).

You’d be sharing with Paul. He’s a keen chef and traveller - the smells coming from the kitchen are glorious and he recently got back from India for work - lucky sod. Nice, chilled out guy who keeps everything lovely and clean. He's also pretty good with noise, no annoying disturbances at 3 am, and doesn't mind when my music gets a bit loud. In fact they neighbours haven’t particularly minded so far either…

As you can see from the photos, there’s lovely bits of grass all around the property which is perfect for hanging out on during the summer months. If you’re a cyclist, there’s a communal garage you can store your bike in. If you’re a car owner, there’s free parking available at the property (we’ve got the permit in a cupboard somewhere).

There are 3 months remaining on the tenancy, but the landlord has said that he will be more than happy to renew the contract for another 12 months with whoever comes in to replace myself. He's pretty flexible generally.

There will be a reference check to complete, but it basically makes sure you're in employment and you can afford the property. Don't think it goes into serious detail.

I’m going to be moving out (officially) on the 29th November, but I am flexible and can leave earlier (up to the 12th or so). Feel free to ask me any and all question, or if you want to arrange a viewing. I’m at work 9-6 but if you text/e-mail I’ll reply within a reasonable time period.
