A bit about the Flat: Although technically a flat, the space is spread out over three floors, feeling much more like a house. Due to the current crisis, the flat is currently configured as a three bed with one study, the intention is to revert back to a four bed flat within the next twelve months.

On the ground floor of the flat, there is a spare toilet and good sized kitchen with all mod cons including a dishwasher. There is also a separate washing machine and drier on this level. On the next floor, there is one bedroom with en-suite and a large bright lounge which opens out on to a large private terrace. There is a bathroom and three further rooms on the top floor. One of these is the study.

Details of the Room: Just refurbished, we have a large, double, en-suite room with a TV, folding desk and chair, double bed, wardrobe and set of drawers. Unfortunately the room is not available to couples and pets are not allowed. The property is non-smoking. The pictures show the refurbished room.

Cost: The rent is £735 per month not including bills. Bills equate to roughly 75 GBP per month and this includes council tax, gas and electricity, water, TV licence and Virgin Media fibre broadband. 1 months deposit required which will be protected by the Deposit Protection Service.

Location: The flat is in a small, friendly, low rise ex-local authority building, in a fantastic spot between London Bridge and Tower Bridge. It is within walking distance of London Bridge, Tower Hill and Tower Gateway stations. In addition there are various bus stops outside our block which run frequently throughout the day and night. Bus routes include the 188, 381, 42, 47, 78, RVI and 343 services.

There are also several bars and restaurants in the immediately vicinity and the very popular Maltby Street Market is just across the road.

Other tenants: Currently there are 2 female, professionals living here, ages range from 27-35, and they would prefer to live with someone of a similar age.

With the current crisis, both of the housemates from home intermittently, and they are happy to live with someone who also has to work from home, full or part-time. That said, the house quite social and would like someone who fits in with the house dynamic. That said, it isn’t a party house, and they are very respectful of each others space. Cleanliness is also very important to them (especially with everything going on) and they hope our future flatmate is the same.
