Double room in a spacious flat with a garden

One of our flat-mates is moving in with her boyfriend and we’re looking for someone to take over a big double bedroom in our lovely 4 bedroom flat in Stepney.

It would be great to have someone who will treat the flat as their home as opposed to just living in their room. Keen for someone who would like to get involved - no room hibernators! It would be nice to live with someone who is happy to go for the odd drink/movie/meal every now and then.

We are two young, fun, & friendly professionals – a gym-bunny accountant girl and a poker-loving banker guy. Third flat-mate is also moving in on the 10th of August and is a doctor. We are looking for a like-minded, sociable and respectful person.

We like to keep our place tidy but we are not anal about it.

The room is fully furnished with a bed, desk, chair, chest of drawers, nightstand and a built-in wardrobe. Bonus - the storage space above the stairs would also belong to you.
It is very sunny in the summer so the photos are not doing it justice (also, they were taken with a phone, as none of us owns a proper camera...)!

The flat is neatly located half-way between the City and Canary Wharf, a 20 minute walk to Brick Lane. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the flat from Shadwell station (DLR) and about 15 from Whitechapel station (District and Hammersmith & City lines). There is a bus stop just two minutes away, with buses to Trafalgar Square, Aldgate, and Shoreditch (15, 135, 115, N15). There are two Barclays cycle-hire docking points just next to the flat.

The flat is in a secure, key fob entry block. It is split between two levels and is located in a quiet area. There are three (yes, three!!) bathrooms in the house, we have a living room with 2 cosy sofas, and the fully-equipped kitchen was newly installed just one year ago. We have a small private back garden and there is a large communal lawn just off the doorstep.

The flat is close to all amenities. There is a great grocery store just meters away, with fresh fruits and veggies. If you prefer one of the big chain stores fear not – there is a huge Sainsbury’s store just 15 minutes walk away. If you don’t feel like cooking one day, there is an amazing burger place just a stone’s throw away on Whitechapel High St, and you can pop in to Rinkoff’s Bakery for one of their famous cronuts for dessert later on. I should also mention that the legendary George Tavern is dangerously close too! There are two pharmacies and two GP surgeries located nearby… if you need something to cure your delirium tremens the next day.

Monthly bills (water, council tax, internet, gas, power) amount to around 50 quid per person.

The room is available from the 10th August, although there is some flexibility a few days either side of this date.

Our (private) landlords would require the normal things like a deposit, reference check, credit check, etc.
