Double room + open plan living space with balcony

We have a room to rent in a clean, modern flat in the heart of East London.

We’re looking for a friendly, tidy and respectful new flatmate to fill a spare room from Feb 28th until the end of May when our contract expires. Of course we may well renew but this is the minimum length of time you'd want to stay. The room has a double bed and wardrobe and space for a desk as well. The rent is £730 per month (including water), payable on the 1st of the month.

The flat –

The flat has been recently painted and is always kept clean. We have wooden floors throughout and all the walls are white. The landlord is also cool about us hanging pictures and we have a large balcony perfect for watching the sunset with a drink.

There is an open plan kitchen and living room with plenty of light and air.

We’re on the 4th floor so well away from traffic noise.

Kitchen is kitted out with:

· Dishwasher
· Fan assisted oven/grill
· Hob x4
· Washer/dryer
· Separate fridge and freezer with plenty of space in each
· xBox

There are a set of double doors leading out onto the balcony, which is also kitted out with fairy lights for a holiday feeling.

The bathroom is as you would expect, l but includes newly fitted everything. It’s well lit and includes a shower/bath with a decent pressure and plenty of hot water.

We live between Aldgate East and Whitechapel stations, a 5 minute walk from:

A BIG Sainsbury's
A LOT of pubs, bars and restaurants

We’re 10 minutes’ walk away from:

Places like London Fields (and its great lido!), Broadway Market, Columbia Road and Victoria Park are all pretty close too.

The area is pretty vibrant – our complex of flats is filled mainly with young professionals tempted by the quick commute into the City, the East End, Farringdon/Clerkenwell, and there’s always stuff going on, it’s a pretty friendly place! We were relatively new to the area and have a lot of friends further up in Dalston and around Victoria Park. The over-ground trains makes it easy to get to those places. We also have bikes and usually ride those - there's plenty of room on the balcony for safe storage too.

The flatmates -

You'd be living with Katy, a young professional, and Ben who is in PR. We are in our late-twenties and like to be pretty relaxed around the flat. We'd love to live with someone who, like us, is busy Monday to Friday and likes to keep it quite quiet in the week. When we have time we like to cook, watch films and catch up. At the weekends we are often out and about but sometimes have people over for drinks and the occasional party.

So, if you think you're our kind of person it would be great to meet you and show you around the flat.
