I (almost) Live Next Door To The Shard!
This flat is on a tiny housing association estate just off Bermondsey Street. I have lived all over London and this is easily my favourite area ever! London Bridge station is a 5-min walk away; B St and its restaurants/bars/galleries/cin ema/chi-chi shops are on the doorstep; the river and Tower Bridge are just down the road (next to M&S. Handy) and the Shard is our local landmark.
To live in such an area you'd usually pay comedy rent. Not so with this place. Why? The flat could do with some TLC, there's a Dot Cotton sofa-suite, and the room available isn't huge — but there's space enough for a double bed and chest of drawers (not provided) and a wardrobe (which is provided).
I work from home (writing. So it's quiet) so I'm here quite a lot. I'm friendly but also like to keep myself to myself. I think I'm a quiet and considerate flatmate. Suppose I'm looking for similar. [WOULD TAKE A MONDAY-FRIDAY RENTER, TOO.]
