Short Stay Ensuite Single, safe area, parking

Short stay, pay weekly lodgings for young professional on internship, student on short course, visiting lecturer, or tourist. Your main home and most of your possessions must be elsewhere, as I don't have much storage space. You should normally be out during the daytime. Any race or gender of course welcome.

Semi-detached house with off-road parking. Safe, suburban area. Bedding and towels provided, laundry done by live-in owner/landlady. Free basic breakfast (eg tea and muesli). Kitchen use limited.

Single ensuite room £160 per week. You can stay just one week if you like. Maximum stay 8 weeks.

The room is small, with a single bed, for one short term lodger. It has a clothes rail, and a small bureau-type desk. Attached to the room is a small shower room, with loo and washbasin.

A short walk or bus ride will take you to Welling station (Oyster zone 4) where direct trains to central London take half an hour. It's a 15 minute bus ride to Woolwich Arsenal, where the new Elizabeth Line connects to central London and Heathrow, while the DLR offers a short ride to London City Airport, Stratford, Bank and Canary Wharf.

Gas, electricity and wifi included. Pay weekly in advance. Kitchen use is very limited due to lack of space, but a vegetarian or vegan evening meal can be ordered for a small charge. No smoking in the house, but you can smoke in the back garden.

Welling High Street, next to the station, has a library, post office, pharmacies, banks, pubs, restaurants, takeaways, dry-cleaners, and shops including a large Tesco and Morrisons. The surrounding area - Falconwood, Welling, Plumstead and Woolwich - has plenty of open space and woodlands for walking, running and cycling. (You can put your bike in the hallway, or the private back garden).
