Hi,

We have a double bedroom in a large and detached house available to a couple for £240 per week, or a single at £190 pw. Inclusive of all bills - electricity, gas, council tax, water, heating, super-fast Fibre Optic broadband, and Sky TV.

Furnished with vintage furniture (a double bed, bedside table, wardrobe, dresser, shelves & chair) and your own basin. There is a window at each end (the room catches the sun in the morning at the back of the room overlooking the garden, and in the afternoons street-side). There is a brand new mattress on the bed and a large desk has been added to the room (though not shown in these photographs).

Please note the magazines are no longer in the room. The photographs were taken before we moved the magazines out. The room is large, quiet and private being at your own 'wing' of the house.

The room adjacent to your bedroom is a bathroom for your exclusive use (with both a separate bath and separate shower) and next to the laundry room downstairs is your own toilet.

We are 15 minutes walk away from Brixton Village and Brixton tube. Even closer is Loughborough Junction train station which is a 10 minute journey to Blackfriars, or 20 mins to Kings Cross. Traveling time to Oxford Circus can take just 30 minutes. There's a direct bus to Shoreditch or the other way to South Kensington & Chelsea. The Circle line extension from Denmark Hill train station has direct links to Shoreditch High Street, Hackney, Dalston, Vauxhall etc.

We are a 10 minute walk to The Kings College and Maudsley hospitals and Camberwell, or 30 min walk to East Dulwich/Lordship Lane.

You will be sharing a 2 storey, 5 bedroom house with just myself (I trade in vintage fashion magazines) and my husband who is a commercial photographer and music film-maker. We live on a quiet, tree-lined street with 2 cats, an Aga stove, a garden to the front and a large private yard out back. Near to us is a big park with tennis courts, playing fields etc. Also nearby are excellent gastro pubs, cafes, 24/7 convenience store, doctors etc.

We are looking for people who have day-jobs and/or work in an office as we both work from home during the hours 9-6.

A cleaner comes around weekly she cleans the communal areas and your bathroom+loo (but doesn't enter any of the bedrooms) and this is also included in the rent.

Vegetarians only please (fish, eggs and dairy products such as milk, cheese etc is fine). Perfect if you want a health kick and would like to give up meat and chicken for a few months!

In the past we have also let the room out to medical staff and from Kings College Hospital which is only a 5 minute walk away. We would also consider a Monday-Friday let.
