A really nice warm house which was built at the turn of the last century and has been fully refurbished throughout. The refurbishments were completed in 2008 and include a new central heating system, plumbing, a new bathroom, a new kitchen/dining area, bamboo real wood flooring throughout and magnolia coloured walls throughout. The house is complete with wireless broadband. The kitchen / diner is complete with a comfortable sofa and so can double up as a living area. The double room for rent is the largest bedroom in the house. It is a large double bedroom and is situated at the front of the house. It is complete with a double wardrobe with drawers underneath and a separate chest of drawers with 6 drawers. All bedroom furniture purchased newly in 2008. The room is fully furnished with a comfortable two seater sofa, table and chair for private work and a side table. The nearest stations are Hither Green / Catford / Catford Bridge / Bellingham which are all pretty much equidistant from the house (about 15 minutes from the house). Trains run to London Bridge London Bridge, Waterloo East and London Charing Cross (journey times between 20 minutes and 30 minutes). There are also frequent buses from a bus stop located a few minutes? walk from the house. From there you can get buses to Lewisham where you can take the DLR as well as the overground. Immediately outside the house are bus stops that runs directly to both Catford and Eltham. While the house is situated on a bus route, the street is neither busy nor noisy. I own the property but I live elsewhere. There are two other tenants both of whom are female. One tenant enjoys sole use of the second bedroom and the living room. The other tenant has sole use of third bedroom.
