All sash windows in the house replaced and loft insulated in 2014 so very warm and cosy. Bedding provided.

Excellent for transport to Central London especially City area. Trains from Clapton (13 mins to Liverpool St) or Hackney Down (8 mins to LS) within easy walking distance. Cycling also a very popular option locally for commuting. Numerous buses (something like a dozen) very close for easy access to various places inc West End. Also Hackney Central Overground to Highbury and Islington in 6 minutes for Victoria line, where Kings Cross is next stop. Free on street parking as well

To share with easy going part time divorced dad 51 who works in City. Have 2 boys, 10 and 13 stay one night in week (Tues or Weds) but apart from that just to share with myself

Kitchen big enough to eat in (large wooden table) with French doors out into small garden. Gas cooker, all usual equipment such as microwave, large fridge freezer, washing machine.
Large 40 inch TV in lounge, with Sky sports and movies channels. Sky Go also means TV could be watched on your device in your room as well or on go around town. Good WIFI in house

Clapton is in the exciting and cool EastEnd part of town yet close to some lovely green escapes. Close to the areas of Shoreditch, Hoxton, Dalston and Stoke Newington where there are an enormous range of pubs bars and restaurants of all hues and ethnicities. Clapton itself has exploded with options the past couple of years. Within 15 minutes walk of the house there would be at least 10 decent pubs and bars and a similar number of restaurants including a lovely cheap South American place Candelas about 3 minutes away. That’s before the independent cafés and coffee shops seemingly on every corner round our way now

Plenty of greenery around too with the Hertford canal/River Lea notably a couple of minutes away which provides green access thru North London into Hertfordshire. A great cycle run. The other direction, a popular running route past The Olympic Park down to Limehouse and onto the Thames in a couple of miles. Plenty of parks too such as the wide expanses of Victoria Park, Hackney Downs and Marshes. The massive Westfield Shopping Centre is also very close
