1 room in Manor House warehouse from 01/04/16

Hello! We have a double room available in the Manor House warehouses (Stonehouse) from 01/04/16.

THE ROOM
is spacious and has good ventilation and heating. It is unfurnished, but you'll see that it is pretty easy to get cheap (or free) furniture in the area if you don't have it yet.
The price for the room is £714 all inclusive (£650 rent + £30 bills + £34 Council Tax).

THE HOUSE
Our home is one of the warehouse units in Stonehouse Community, which were converted less than three years ago, so it's all brand new! There are two bathrooms and a huge and bright communal area with full equipped kitchen and living room. Although it's an open space, it's super comfortable and cosy. It's on the ground floor with a huge wooden deck, a great space to hang out and to meet up with the neighbours.

THE FLATMATES
You would share the house with 2 boy and 2 girls aged 26-29, all professionals and easy-going people. Jean is a French engineer who loves rock climbing, going out for pints and who is always up for activities. Caitlin is English, and works as a freelance photographer. She runs a photographic studio in the building next door. Phil and Aina are the couple of the house. Phil is German/Spanish and works in book publishing. He loves reading, music and going out. Aina is a Spanish-Majorcan girl and works in the organisation of cultural events. She enjoys visiting exhibitions, going for walks and photography.
We work in a mixture of industries, but as we all are interested in music, arts, film and all sort of cultural events, we always try to make the most out of our free time and do activities together!

THE AREA
Manor House warehouses is a creative area with really friendly neighbours, there is always something going on: art projects, movie nights, dinners, all kind of lessons (yoga, aerials, hoola-hop...), even a few of pop-up festivals and markets. It's the perfect place if you want to meet new people and to take part in a community.
A new work space/bar has opened just at the top of our street which hosts life drawing and music events. Our local pub is the Finsbury, where there are free or cheap gigs almost every night!

TRANSPORT
- 10 min walk to Manor House Station next to Finsbury Park (Piccadilly Line - 5min to Finsbury Park Station, 15min to King's Cross).
- 10 min walk to Stamford Hill (National Rail)
- 15 min walk to Seven Sisters (Victoria Line and National Rail)
- Local buses are 253, 254, 259, 279, 68. Night buses serve the area as well

SHOPS:
- 5 min walk to an off licence, 10 min walk to a big Sainsbury's and Haringey shopping centre.
- Other local shops include a veg shop (special discount for Manor House warehouses!), a hairdresser, a café, a butcher and some more to open up soon.

WHO WE WOULD LIKE TO LIVE WITH
We are looking for a professional, in his/her twenties-thirties, to join the family! We love the atmosphere in the house and look for people who are not only interested in the space but who want to take part in the house share and to live in a friendly and sociable environment.
In order to keep the language balance, we would prefer no Spanish speakers. We want to keep English as the main language of the house!
We enjoy doing things together (going out, to have diners, watching movies, chilling out...) but of course we also have our own privacy. If you are an easygoing person, who enjoys living in a clean and nice house, but who also likes having fun, get in touch!
