Huge double room in friendly houseshare

Hello,

We (Emma and Zoe) are searching for a new housemate. Our current housemate is moving to Paris, so we have a room to fill from 30th November.

Emma works in education, and Zoe works for a charity. We are both 26. We enjoy going for drinks around Peckham and the surrounding area. We have the occasional house party, sometimes with a barbecue in the garden (weather permitting!)

Emma is a vegetarian and Zoe is vegan. So if you're vegetarian/vegan that's a bonus, but don't worry if not, as long as you have your own pots and pans that's fine :) We don't smoke in the house, only in the garden (but Emma is a non smoker).

We have a large shared living room and kitchen with a dining area which we enjoy hanging out in together. We are not only looking for a housemate but someone who we can go for a pint with and who can become our friend, but also obviously understand that sometimes you need your own space.

The house is just a 5 minute walk from Queens Road Peckham station. You can get trains direct to London Bridge and the Overground. We're also only a five to ten minute walk to Nunhead station from which you can get a train to Victoria. So there are good transport links available. Also great buses to Vauxhall or Holborn etc. Just at the end of our road, next to the station there is a Tesco Express, which is very handy! And we have a lovely newsagents/off licence just a two minute walk away.

The room is large, light and airy and will be furnished with two wardrobes, a chest of drawers and most importantly of all a double bed!

Please let us know a little bit about yourself, your job, what you like doing, lifestyle etc. Unfortunately we can't live with a student due to council tax.

Rent will be £600 pcm not including bills approx £70 to £80pcm. Our tenancy is about to be renewed in November so ideally we'd like someone who is looking to make it their home for at least a year.
