Looking for a second girl only, aged between 25 – 45
The building is a very quiet, beautiful grade 2 listed converted Mill on the bank of the Thames, next door to the Mayflower pub, set in the quiet cobbled streets by the Brunel Museum & Sands film studios, in Rotherhithe. The neighbours are all characters but we have an understanding that the building stays quiet. The area is often used as a film set and feels like a hidden enclave away from the madness of central London.
The flat is situated on the 5th floor by lift, with easy access to our communal roof garden with spectacular views of the Shard, Tower Bridge & the Thames. The mill also contains a laundrette, common room with a beautiful central atrium & jetty out onto the river. The Mill has a single Victorian boiler providing great central heating, brilliant water pressure and endless hot water. You are never cold in this place.
The flat has 1 toilet, one bathroom, 4 bedrooms, kitchen and lounge. The bedrooms all have built in wardrobes. Your bedroom has views stretching south over St. Mary’s Churchyard & Canada Water. It is the largest of the rooms & has the most built in wardrobes. Also you get the Sun all day.
Several local shops, restaurants and pubs are within 10 minutes walking distance, with Surrey Quays shopping mall around the corner as well. 2 stops on the Jubilee and you are in London Bridge; with central London only 20 mins away maximum.
This is a home not just a flat that would suit someone who needs quiet evenings for maybe studying & downtime. The flat has always had a creative pulse for cooking, love of music & films, art & culture from the world , creating a bohemian yet professional home.
We are looking for someone who will bring there own personality to the place, a story to the dinner table, a joke to the bar and a voice to future plans and ideas for the flat.
INTERVIEW DAYS WILL BE OVER THE NEXT 21 DAYS OR SO and NATURALLY WE WILL WORK AROUND WHAT TIMES WORK BEST FOR YOU.
But the successful person must be available to move in on the weekend of the 1st October 2014. A few days either side can be accommodated though.
Bring your personality & start thinking about what you want to tell us.
Drop us an email, text or call so we can arrange a time on the days for meeting.
Looking forward to hearing from you all. GOOD LUCK!
Valeria, Martin & Ollie
