Single room in Russel Square, Bloomsbury, WC1N

The room is a single but by no means "cozy" and at about £605 it is really cheap for the area and you can walk pretty much anywhere in Zone 1.

The current flatmates are professional, and the flat is kept clean. Unfortunately, that means that if you're a student, you would be expected to contribute towards council tax as the "household" would not be exempt.

Transport wise, it's a 5min walk from Kings cross station and a 3min walk to Russell Square tube. There are parks and sports facilities less than 1 minute walk in any direction. There are two boris bike bays within 1 min. We even have a local bowling lane and the British museum within 5 minutes.

On top of that, the Brunswick (a shopping centre), with its massive Waitrose and a doctors surgery is virtually next door to us, and there is a small Tesco outside Russel Sq. tube.

Generally, Marchmont St. is a quiet area with just a few small restaurants and little shops.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, it's great. Sadly, I am not in London as much as I used to be so I have no need for the room. And now you have an opportunity to grab a great room in a great place with great people.

To move in there is a one off admin fee from the estate agent and a reference check.

The room will be available for someone to move in from around 8th November or earlier if you need it sooner.

The security deposit is below £900, and the council tax is about £55 per person per month. The utility bills and the Internet come to about £50ish per person per month (I can't remember off the top if my head).

Past experience shows that it is very difficult to differentiate between people who message us with interest (everybody says they're clean, mature, tidy, and into exploring London or sports). We get a lot of responses and we simply cannot show everyone around, so to make the process more interesting, when messaging us, (this is very important!) let us know if you were a salad (let's face it: nobody is just a single kind of a fruit or a vegetable) what salad you would be and why.

Also, please don't write to us to tell how great the area is, etc; instead tell us about yourself! :-)
