Hey!

We have a large double room (for one person only) located
In London's E1 district - close to all public transport and the vibrant Brick Lane and Shoreditch area.

We're looking for a friendly flatmate, a professional working full-time, who enjoys living in a peaceful, clean & tidy environment. However, we understand you may occasionally invite your friends over for dinner, enjoy some alfresco dining, or a BBQ on the roof garden.

Existing flatmates are: Ken, Accountant - Nicholas, Music Producer.

The flat is conveniently located for the City, Canary Wharf and the West End. Our nearest stations are Shadwell, Limehouse and Whitechapel. Shadwell is only one stop from Bank Station.

There are a few supermarkets within walking distance, Sainsbury's and Tesco. Also some ethnic ones selling Turkish, Indian and Polish food.

The room has one built-in double wardrobe, plus another double wardrobe. A double bed. Two Double glazed windows looking onto the roof garden, window blinds, gas central heating, wood flooring, desk and chair. plus, another sitting chair.

The flat enjoys a large roof garden and BBQ area.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dining table.

The flat has contemporary decoration throughout and has a separate toilet from the bathroom.

Nearest Gym: Limehouse

Brick Lane is approximately 15 minute walk from the flat. The Brick Lane area has a thriving night-time economy, bars, restaurants and clubs. During the weekend there are several interesting markets to explore as well.

In the other direction is Limehouse, a seven minute walk. Limehouse is next to the River Thames, there's a marina, Gordon Ramsay's Gastopub and the historic Grapes Inn, which has recently been bought by the actor Sir Ian Mckellen who resides in the area.

If you enjoy walking along the river Thames, the river is nearby. We are close to Tower Bridge and the South Bank.

You can reach City Airport within 15 minutes on the DLR from Limehouse. The Airport caters for European flights, and connects with major hubs.

If you like listening to live music, we have three venues nearby : George Tavern, Troxy, plus the famous Wilton's Music Hall.

If you enjoy playing tennis there are several courts at King Edward Park, a six minute walk.

The area is multicultural, it's home to a large student population and people who work in the City and Canary Wharf.

Transportation is great, several stations nearby, and a regular night bus service. E1 is very central, you can quickly travel to other areas in London from here.

The flat itself is unique, it's a semi-detached bungalow situated on the first floor. The 'security entrance' to enter the building is on the main road, so you don't need to walk down loads of deserted streets at night to come home.

What we do in our spare time: Ken spends most of his spare time studying. Myself, I enjoy songwriting, the arts, cooking, visiting friends. Plus I do some voluntary work helping the local community.

We're friendly, laid-back and enjoy living with like-minded people.

The rent is £700pcm - All bills are included.
