Lovely Double Room with own bathroom in E1!
Great room with brand new double bed and own bathroom. A juliet balcony from the lounge, and all modern appliances.
It's a great apartment and will be a fun and friendly place to live. We have all new curtains, beds, mattresses, furniture (incl huge comfy beanbag!), washer/dryer, Samsung fridge/freezer, and have repainted the place since I moved in.
There's also a brand new sofa and a ceiling mounted HD projector in the living room for films etc., plus a PS4 with Netflix, a Denon amplifier, and B&W speakers, which sound incredible.
There are two bathrooms, and the main (bigger) bathroom would be predominantly yours as ours is en-suite.
The available bedroom has a decent sized new three-door wardrobe with drawers, and bedside table/drawers etc. The bed and mattress are new, are great quality (Warren Evans), and the bed is high from the floor for decent storage space underneath. The photos are a little old but I will upload newer ones shortly (unfortunately I had to take the photo of the flatmate's room at the time at short notice hence it being such a mess in the photo!)
You can see the top of the shard, gherkin and cheese grater buildings from the bedroom window, and canary wharf from the living room window, over which the sun rises. In the mornings there is plenty of sunlight through the juliet balcony in the living room, and on the evenings, sunlight into both bedrooms. I have fitted the rooms with blackout curtains so no worries in terms of it being too bright or whatever, anytime.
The transport links are fantastic, with the place being 10 mins walk from Whitechapel, and is commutable via Shadwell DLR to Bank in just 1 stop for the Central line, as well as Shadwell Overground for Shoreditch etc. It is also ~25 mins walk to Liverpool Street and to Brick Lane from the place. I sometimes go running from the place over Tower Bridge and back, so that's pretty close too.
Perfect if you work at Canary Wharf or The City, and for connections to Dalston etc for social life, if that's your sort of thing.
My girlfriend and I are 31 & 32, from the North of England and Australia, we're chilled out, have a good sense of humour, and I'd like to think are very easy to hang out with without being all couple-y etc. It's been a great laugh living with our current flatmate and the 3 of us get on great, but unfortunately she is moving away from London so has to leave.
We're especially keen to make sure you can consider the place "home" as much as we do, and that we can all get on and hang out as 3 flatmates as suits. You'll ideally be friendly, fun, interesting, cool to chill with, easy going, and clean. No heavy smokers or pets though please!
Kitchen-wise, there's all the usual stuff including (slimline) dishwasher, brand new washer/dryer combo, and a brand new large high end Samsung fridge/freezer mentioned above.
I suggest that we agree an "all-in" price to keep things simple. That would be a little higher than the price listed but would also include broadband and all bills, council tax, apartment service charge and ground rent, and a cleaner who we have approx twice per month. Happy to keep things flexible in terms of contract length etc. and see how it works out to begin with.
Drop me a line if interested and we can arrange a viewing or have a coffee/pint and a chat if that works for you.
Cheers!
p. s. I have extra photos that I can share if you drop me a line - spareroom won't let me add the link to them all here!
p. p. s. Oh we also have nice neighbours, and 3 great pubs in the area
