Beautiful Spitalfields House Seeks Fun Flatmate

So the day before we were meant to be signing a contract for our beautiful new house one of the flatmate had to drop out. So we need to find a replacement… today.

We’re hoping this will be easy because the house we’ve found is amazing and far too cheap for what it is. Its obscenely central – <5 minutes walk to Liverpool St tube, 2 minutes to Spitalfields, 5 minutes to Truman Brewery / brick Lane and on a beautiful little lane with a few shops and bars. It’s also massive – even the smallest room is a decent sized double. There’s a bunch of communal space (big kitchen diner / massive living room / balcony bit) and the house has an insane amount of character (built in 1650 – loads of original features). It’s also being repainted / with new kitchen etc. The flatmates are three people who all met on spareroom, but we’ve been really careful we get a decent group. We are all young professionals, but very social and keen on having a house where people actively want to hang out in the communal space and not run off to their rooms every time they see someone else in the house. That said everyone respects each other’s privacy. We’ve been out for a few drinks and we get on well – we’re all looking forward to finding someone to complete the group! Currently we’re 2 girls and 1 guy (2 English, 1 French) – personality more than gender matters most for the final person.

Only small issues; we need someone who can move as quickly as possible!

Pricewise it’s at the top end of our budget too. It’ll be £825 - £930 (+bills) depending on which room you want. This is a lot cheaper (£1200 a month total) than the asking price, so think we’ve got a great deal.
