We have a quiet double room to rent on a Sun night - Friday morning basis (but with occasional weekends available at a supplement of £30 per night).

The flat is located just off St George's Rd between the Imperial War Museum and South Bank University. There are excellent transport links, walking distance to the South Bank, Borough Market, Westminster, Covent Garden and the City, 10 mins walk from Waterloo, 3 mins to zone 1 Northern and Bakerloo lines and numerous bus routes to most of London.

The local area has a shopping centre (Tesco and Iceland), lots of convenience stores, banks, tennis courts, free outdoor gym, 5-a-side pitches and a new gym nearby.

The flat was fully redecorated and refurbished in 2012, with brand new kitchen, bathroom, heating, carpets. The bedroom is well furnished with a small double bed (for single occupancy but occasional visitors are not a problem), which has divan storage, a wardrobe with drawers, shelves, desk and 26” LED TV. Large living room with two sofas and dining table. Modern fully equipped kitchen, including washing machine and dishwasher. Shared modern bathroom with large shower.

You will be sharing the flat with a professional couple working in the city, but who also work away at times. We are friendly and sociable, but like to relax after a long day at work, so this will not suit someone looking for an active social life in the flat. We have been flat sharing for the last 6 years, and a previous flatmate lived with us for 2 years! We are looking to share our home with a friendly, trustworthy and tidy flatmate, professional or mature student.
