Double room in a friendly flatshare!

We have a lovely fully furnished, double room available in a friendly flatshare in West Hampstead. It's a decent sized double with tons of storage space. There are two large fitted wardrobes, lots of shelves, 2 chests of draws and a comfortable double bed with memory foam mattress.

The flat - it’s gorgeous flat on the top two floors of a period conversion. It has loads of character and is a place to call home. The kitchen is a good size with lots space to russle up something tasty. The living room is huge and has a beautiful fireplace with working gas fire, great for snuggling up in front of a film in the winter. On the same floor there is a modern shared bathroom with toilet, bath and shower and a little utility room with a washing machine, dryer and freezer. There's also small, south facing roof terrace (all day sun!) that is great for having breakfast or a barbie in the summer. The other couple have an ensuite shower and sink in their room so you would have main use of the shared bathroom.

Location - West Hampstead is in zone 2 and extremely well connected. The flat is just 6-7 minutes walk to West Hampstead Tube (Jubilee Line), overground station AND the London Thameslink.

Flatmates - we're currently 2 couples sharing, but my boyfriend and I are moving out because we're expecting a baby. The couple staying on are Ali and Beth, a very happy, smiley, laid back pair. They are really great and easy to live with, keep the house clean and tidy, up for a good natter or a drink, but also happy doing their own thing and give you space to chill out. Ali is a quantity surveyor and Beth is a teacher, both active and outdoorsy.

The rent is £800 per month. Bills are not included and just divided equally among the housemates. We currently pay about £70 each per month between four of us. If a single person took the room the bills would be divided by 3 so a bit more each month. Bills includes water, gas, electricity, council tax and virgin media TV and broadband. We all take it in turns to buy things like washing up liquid and loo roll.

The room is available mid November and the current tenancy agreement runs up to the end of February 2015 so you would be committing to 3. 5 months in the first instance, however Ali and Beth have no plans to move and are keen to find a longer term housemate and continue the tenancy. Reference fees are £26 per person plus £150 to add your name to the tenancy agreement.
