Double Room In Garden Flat In West Hampstead

THE ROOM/FLAT:

Looking for a professional (female preferred, but open to male; age 27-35) to fill the second bedroom in a 2 bed/1 bath garden flat.

Room is large enough to easily fit a double bed (which can be provided with the room if necessary). It has cathedral ceilings (15') and an extra large window which looks out onto the back garden. Shared reception room (also with 15' ceilings) which opens onto the back patio and down into a large garden area. Shared bath has a tub and nice shower.

Whole flat comes furnished with pretty much everything you could really need.

Currently there is high speed internet via Virgin, but no cable TV (I do however have subscriptions to Netflix and NowTV, which can be shared). Utilities come to about £150/mo per person and includes internet, water, heating, council tax, electricity and gas.

Lovely and very safe neighbourhood in West Hampstead with all of the amenities of the high street a 30 second walk from the door. The flat is on a very quite street which feels like it should be much further out of London than it actually is.

Transport links include the Overground (West Hampstead) and Jubilee lines at a 5 min walking distance from the door, and the West Hampstead Thameslink a 3 min walk away (1 stop to Kings Cross!).

O2 Center at Finchley Road is a 10 min walk and includes an extra large Sainsburys, a Virgin Active gym, a Vue movie theatre and loads of chain restaurants. A smaller Sainsburys and a Tesco Express are just on the high street about 1 min from the door.

WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR:

Someone who is clean first and foremost. I am proud of this home and would like for it to remain a nice place to come home to.

Ideally I'd like someone who is happy to be social and share the space. Not looking for someone who just locks themselves in their room all of the time. You don't need to be super social, but please at least be normal - aka say hi when you come home, maybe share a glass of wine now and then, be open to being social when friends come over, etc.

I spend the weekends either relaxing at the flat, travelling or out with friends. Occasionally I do like to have people over, but nothing loud - more like dinner parties or game nights. Would like someone with a similar lifestyle.

ABOUT ME:

I am an American expat from New York who has lived in London for about 2. 5 years now. I work in entertainment/digital media doing marketing and brand strategy. Office is based in Shoreditch so can attest to a 35 min door to door commute.

I am a marathoner, so running/gym are regulars for me. I'm also a massive foodie, so while I will cook, I enjoy spending most nights finding new tasty food places that London is so spectacular at offering up.

OPEN HOUSE:

I will be searching for/talking to people over the next few weeks. Ideal move in would be for Nov 1, but that date can be somewhat flexible.
