I am renting a double room in this modern house (new in 2013). There are 5 rooms in total plus 2 luxurious bathrooms (one a wet room) and a kitchen with all new appliances.
Being new, the house is well-insulated, so is very warm and quiet. The decorations and the carpets are all fresh and neutral.
The double bedroom is a loft room on the top floor. It has new furniture: a bed, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a bedside table.
Outside, there is a secure garden, a large deck and a bike store. There is free/residents' parking on the street.
The house is on a quiet road less than 5 minutes walk from Abbey Wood station, which is 21 mins from central London by train. Trains from Abbey Wood take you into London Bridge, Waterloo and Charing Cross stations.
A huge Sainsbury's superstore is just 3 minutes' walk away.
The other flatmates are all professionals, are sociable and keep the house clean and tidy.
The rent is £470 per month. The rent includes all bills including fibre optic broadband. There is a rent deposit of £500.
The owner (me!) is a chartered surveyor with 30 years' experience in property. I manage the house with care and aim to make your time here as comfortable as possible.
