A beautiful double room is available in our modern and spacious flat. Flexible move-in date since our flatmate has already moved out.

ABOUT THE ROOM (£1000 pcm):

The room is well furnished with a double bed (with a comfortable mattress), a big wooden wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a smaller bedside table, a foldable desk and a lot of built-in shelves in the walls (book-lover's dream :)). There is also a lot of storage under the bed, which is super handy.

As shown on the photos, the room is a decent size and has two large windows, so lots of natural light!

Bills tend to be approx. £150 per month per person (council tax band D, wifi, water, gas/electricity). Included in the rent is our lovely cleaner who comes once a week, so the flat is always super clean and tidy!

ABOUT THE FLAT

The flat was ENTIRELY RENOVATED in July 2020 - which means it feels brand new and is in an ideal location! It's a 3-bedroom flat with a modern, bright bathroom and a huge living room. With this flat, you will have access to a private garden (shared only with the residents of the building, but usually quite empty!), so it's great to have a view onto this green space.

LOCATION
This flat is ideally located about 5 mins walk from Angel station (northern line), next door to Camden Passage where a quaint antique market takes place every weekend. We are 5 mins walk from Regent's Canal (ideal for morning walks!), 20 mins walk from Highbury Fields if you fancy some greenery and 20 mins walk from King's Cross Station. All restaurants & bars on Upper Street (or Supper Street?) are super close too.

LIVING ROOM
The living room has two comfy couches, including one which can be turned into a double bed if you'd like to have guests over. It also has a glass dining table which is lovely to use when we have friends round for dinner. There's a balcony looking out onto the private green space for the estate.

BATHROOM
The bathroom gets a lot of natural light with two windows. It has a large shower / bath and it even has underfloor heating (the dream!).

KITCHEN
The kitchen is well furnished with a dishwasher (!), a washer & dryer, a fridge & freezer, a large kitchen table and 4 chairs. There's a lot of storage space and all the appliances you could need.

STORAGE
The flat has a massive storage cupboard which is very handy for keeping suitcases, boxes, spare appliances, small pieces of furniture, etc., as well as miscellaneous household things like the ironing board and vacuum cleaner.

WHO WE ARE
I'm Eleri (she/they). I'm 26 and originally from Cardiff. I've been living in this flat for 2 years now and really love it! I work in climate finance and tend to go into the office most days (the flat is close enough for me to walk in!). I love music so I spend most of my free time at choir rehearsals, singing in concerts and going to concerts, and otherwise enjoy reading, going to the theatre and discovering new vegan restaurants. Weekday evenings when I'm not at choir I tend to chill in the flat cooking, watching TV, etc.

Michaela (she/her) is 30 and from Australia. She works in climate finance too and is at the office most weekdays. Outside of work, she enjoys running, reading, hiking, and cooking.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Our lovely flatmate is moving out, so we're looking for a new person to join our household by 31st May 2024. We have chill, friendly vibe in the flat - we like to hang out and chat/eat together in the evenings when we're both around and occasionally go to shows/concerts etc. together. We sometimes have friends round for dinner but we're not a party flat. We're looking for someone who would fit in well with this dynamic. Bonus if you're vegetarian, since neither of us eats meat so it would mean we could share meals sometimes, but the most important thing is that we click.

Unfortunately, our landlady does not accept students. You will be signing a new 6-month lease that then turns into a rolling monthly contract.
