Flat share in the Barbican Estate

Looking for a professional for a room in a lovely, bright and spacious flat on the 30th floor of the Barbican estate. The let is for 6 months initially but with the potential to be ongoing.....



The property



The property has lovely design features associated with the barbican - spacious, well-proportioned rooms and lots of light. It's perfect if you're interested at all in good design and good architecture. The property also has a large balcony that spans the length of the flat and has a great view of the city.

Of course, being in the barbican complex means you have a world-class art and music centre right on your door step, as well as an excellent cinema, library, gallery cafe/restaurant and tennis courts.



The area



The area has everything you could possibly hope for - excellent and interesting bars, cafes and places to eat in nearby Clerkenwell, Shoreditch and Hoxton. We know all the best places for breakfast and coffee so you'll be sorted. There's also a Waitrose 2 minutes walk away (big bonus) and a Tesco Metro about 4 minutes away (very convenient). Lots of markets on the doorstep (Whitecross, Smithfields, Columbia Road, Spitalfields) and plenty of art and culture at your fingertips. And Barbican tube station is literally 2 minutes away. You can't really want for more.



General stuff



It's a 4 bedroom flat - and we're looking to fill the fourth room as one of us is leaving, Oslo bound. There are 2 bathrooms so you'll be sharing with one other (very tidy) person.



About us



We've lived together for a while now and we'd say we feel pretty lucky that we have the perfect balance in the flat. We all enjoy each others company so do spend some time together when we're about - usually sharing a glass of wine. But then we're also very independent too so we're not always in each others pockets. All in all we're pretty chilled but we do like the flat to be kept clean and tidy as a given. We rarely watch TV and so we'd like someone who doesn't sit infront of the box at every opportunity.

Essentially, we're really looking for the right person who fits this dynamic.
