1 Large Double Room available in Battersea Flat

I am looking for a professional female flatmate to sign on for a 1 year contract renewal with the opportunity to continue on. This is a bright, clean and cozy 2 bedroom flat within a terrace house on Queenstown Road in the heart of Battersea. The room up for let is a spacious double room, with a double bed, big wardrobe, and a private balcony with lots of windows!

The bathroom, kitchen and living/dining room is shared with me as our common space. Rent is GBP 1100 per month excluding bills. Bills come up to around GBP 120 per month each. A deposit of GBP 1,269.23 will be required upon signing for this let. The room will be available as of 7 July 2024. This is a non-smoking flat.

Things you should know about the flat:

• Bills are shared: internet, water, electric, and council tax (Wandsworth Borough has the cheapest council tax!)

• Paying bills are split - 2 are under my name, 2 will be under your name

• 10 min walk to Battersea Park

• 15 min walk to Battersea Power Station/BPS underground, 9 min walk to Battersea Park overground, 7 min walk to Queenstown Road station, Clapham Common is a short walk and bus ride away! Additionally, lots of buses to central London and direct links to Victoria and Waterloo.

• We’re lucky in that we have a nice landlord, who fixes things pretty quickly if need be.

About me: My name is Kajal, 28, originally from Toronto, Canada. I’ve been living and working in London for 3 years. I love going on walks and runs in Battersea Park, I am very clean and considerate, love to cook/bake, and having dinners/drinks in and out. I work in Finance in the City 2/3 days per week in the office, and I work from home the rest of the days.

I’m ideally looking for a fellow female professional between 25-32 who is very clean, considerate, and who would like to make this flat their home.
