1 furnished double room available on Brixton Hill

You’ll be living with Samaaya (f) and Darbi (f) - this will be for 6 months initially with opportunity to renew the tenancy annually as I am moving to Australia for work. We’ll need a new friendly, female flatmate ✨✨

Samaaya - I work in social media which means the occasional freebie and wfh on Fridays. I’m mostly a homebody but also all have my own busy life going on and I like to hang out watching movies or having friends over for movie or game nights.

Darbi - I work in consulting as a data analyst but I’m a creative at heart! When I’m not working, you’ll find me crocheting, at pottery lessons, reading or watching something on Netflix. Like Samaaya, I’m also a homebody who loves spending time with my friends and family.

There’s 1 bathroom which will be shared between you and Darbi and Samaaya on occasion who has an en suite toilet in her room.

The room is a good size doubles with high ceilings, a wardrobe and room for a desk, bedside table, chest of drawers or clothes rail if you wanted it.

The flat is bright and well decorated with a kitchen that comfortably fits 4 cooking at the same time, a shared living room with 2 sofas and a small dining table that sits 4. we have a projector and big white space that we usually use to watch tv and movies together so would be lovely if you’re up for that too!

It’s an easy-going flat, so would love flatmates that are considerate to each other and like it to be kept clean and tidy. Leaving dishes for days or not cleaning the bathroom after yourself will be dealbreakers!

There’s loads of buses travelling to all areas of London that you can hop on on Brixton Hill. Brixton station is about a 20 min walk and 5-10min bus journey, Clapham Common about a 25 min walk, along with other stations like Herne Hill, Streatham Hill etc. Or you can stay local as there’s literally endless great restaurants, bars and pubs in all directions from the flat. We’re just on Brixton hill with great links to central Brixton, Streatham, Clapham and Balham. Stretham hill is full of restaurant, pub, supermarket, gym, off licence, shops

We’ve been in the flat for 3 years and it’s previously been managed by estate agents 😬 but our landlords who have always looked out for us and maintained great communication with us recently took over making the tenancy a lot smoother and cheaper!

FYI this is a black and queer flat so ideally would want a housemate that is cool with that ✌🏾
