Spacious en-suite in a lovely Camberwell home :)
Hello!
I have a ‘double’ room (spacious with a king sized bed) available in my lovely new flat in Camberwell from June 2024.
I work in the financial services, generally doing 2 days a week in the office in the city. I dance and do yoga as a hobby and generally known to be trying all sorts of new activities. I’m a coffee snob, love wine (vineyards and tasters are a big yes) and an avid traveller. I like all the usual basic stuff around Sunday roasts, going for walks, exploring new bars and restaurants but equally very much chilling at home and using it as a place to chill. I work hard so I like my home to be a place to return and relax and therefore looking for lodgers who feel the same way.
The flat is spacious with two bedrooms and a main bathroom. The bedroom available also has a spacious en-suite and has just been newly painted.
The building has lovely neighbours with only 9 flats and a nice communal rooftop gardens which I’ve occasionally had drinks on. There is great security with a fob and intercom at the entrance to the building and then also on entrance to the floor/use of the lift. There is a bike storage room within the building - also via fob access should you have a bike.
The flat is situated right next to Burgess Park which is lovely and short 5 min walk into Camberwell and there is a Sainsbury’s local downstairs. It takes me 30/40 minutes to get to Bank/Moorgate via bus to elephant & castle (10 mins) and tube and equally 30 mins to get to Tottenham Court Road.
I own the flat so there are no agent fee hassles. There will be a standard lodger agreement and I’m open to discussions on term albeit my preference is for short lets 3-6 months with a potential to extend. Rent is £1,250 for the room and deposit is one month’s rent. Bills are included - electricity, heating, water, council tax, cleaner, tv licence..
I’m looking for a professional who doesn't work from home ideally and is likeminded seeking a comfortable place to call home.
