Double room in friendly house share

I am advertising a spacious double bedroom in a beautiful tastefully decorated period house in Peckham. I will take a picture of the room tonight and can email this directly to you, I ran out of time - it's lovely I promise!

The location is on Bushey Hill Road. Gorgeous Bellenden road is round the corner which offers lovely cafes, pubs, delis and a host of independent and vintage stores, as well the restaurants and bars of Peckham Rye and Camberwell and a short walk to either Peckham Rye station, Denmark Hill station – which has trains to central London, Shoreditch, Highbury & Islington as well as all over south London - or any one of a multitude of buses that run into the city.

The house also boasts a beautiful back garden, we’ve built our own barbeque, which is perfect for the arrival of spring, and there are lanterns in the trees as well as a really pretty arch and palm tree! The lounge and kitchen are very spacious, there’s a real fire in the lounge as well as beautiful bay windows and the kitchen is massive with a huge oven and lots of space if you love cooking. Also the bathroom has a freestanding bath, which always draws lots of jealous attention from friends.

There are two lovely house mates that you will be sharing with who have the other two bedrooms in the house, one male, Harry a musician, who is 28 years old and one female, Amy a photographer, who is 30 years old. They are great people and enjoy a beer and a chat, watching a movie on the couch and a bbq in the back yard as well as having their own things going on too.

The house is on a rolling contract. The bedroom is a basement en-suite bedroom which has it’s own front door, but I never use that as I prefer to use the main communal front door, but it’s great if you like the option of privacy. The room is really big, with wooden floors, shelves, a full length mirror, draws and a wardrobe.
