Lovely garden home has 2 rooms available

From June 1st, we are looking for two people (for two separate rooms) to move into our lovely house in Camberwell.

The house is a Georgian building with two floors. On the ground floor is a spacious living and dining room, a downstairs toilet and a bright kitchen with access to a sunny private garden, great for summer BBQs. Upstairs is the main bathroom, with bath and very powerful shower, our bedroom and the two available bedrooms.

It was a family home until very recently so has been kept in great condition with vintage mahogany furniture in the bedrooms and the kitchen in particular is very stylish (black granite work surfaces etc.)

The house is located in a conservation area, on a charming and quiet little square, right next to the huge Burgess Park. This is a conservation area, with a great community atmosphere that you can feel amongst the neighbours.

Transport connections are great as we are just off the main road (2 min walk),

Camberwell Road / Albany Road, where you can find lots of buses 12 to Oxford street ( 35 min), 176 to Tottenham Court Road, 68 to Euston, 148 to White City, excellent links to East London with the 35 to Shoreditch (also 24 hours bus perfect for nightlife), 40 to Aldgate or 42 to Liverpool Street. It’s a 20 min walk to Elephant and Castle & Denmark Hill tube stations.

We love the area because it has great little cafes and pubs and is very close to Peckham with the cheapest cinema in town. It's the perfect place in London to live in a peaceful, residential area while remaining close to the city centre.

You'll be sharing with Adam and Simona, a cheerful and easy going couple from Rome,

Italy. Adam is half British, he's a musician, freelancing as that, while also working at a hotel in the city centre. I'm Simona, a freelance counsellor also working part­-time in marketing. We enjoy music, movies, fashion and arts and we love our house because it's big enough to give space for everyone's activities.

We're looking for someone who enjoys the home atmosphere and cares about the house and keeps it clean. We enjoy spending time with friends and so we'd like someone social but we are also very busy and respectful of everyone's privacy. *The smallest room is 580 £ pcm.

*The bigger room is 810 £ pcm.

Contract starts June 1st and it's a 1 year contract with a 6 month opt-out policy.
