Modern, cool Camden flat

The Flat:

Spacious, clean three-level flat in a Camden row house. The landlord is an interior designer so the flat is very modern. The majority of the flat has wooden floors, with carpeted stairs. We have one small balcony and another large terrace out back that is great for BBQs and hosting friends and guests. The kitchen has a large table with four chairs, a gas stove, fridge & freezer, oven, dishwasher, washing/drying machine, and good cabinet storage space. The living room has three couches, a large TV, and wall shelves for storage.

The Room:

The open room is on the top floor of the flat. It has one large window, so is well-lit. It is also at the back of the flat, so had no road noise and is very quiet. The room comes with a full wardrobe to hang clothes, a double bed, bedside cabinet, and large chest of drawers. You'll share a bathroom with the other room on the top floor. There is additional shared storage space in the hallway outside the rooms.

Who We Are Looking For:

We're looking for a responsible, interesting, sociable person. We treat the flat like our home, and do our best to keep it very clean and welcoming. We'd definitely expect you to participate in cleaning and upkeep to the same degree - if you can help us keep this place awesome, we'll probably get along. We like people who are confident in who they are and bring something unique to the world. Tell us what you're into and what you're passionate about.


Lea is French, a hard-working project manager who has lived across Europe, Asia, and Northern Africa. She has a penchant for good food and is quite the cook.* Lea's been known to lap the field in aquabiking workout sessions, and is a beast on the Tough Mudder circuit. She forges her way through life with witty banter and random outbursts in rapid-fire French. She also enjoys making fun of Italians.

Federico, one of the aforementioned Italians, is a full time engineer and is dabbling in a 3D printing startup on the side. Fede enjoys a nice plate of pasta and parma ham (surprise!), and strives to win the battle against Lea for cultural dominance in the kitchen. Fede's an avid kite surfer, so be sure to catch a ride down to the coast to join him at some point.

*At the very least, you'll suffer the very positive externality of determining whether French or Italian cooking and wine is better. It's a winning situation for you.

We like going out, hosting dinner parties, and a good summer BBQ. You'll find us both reading and relaxing on the weekend, and we love a good flat dinner party replete with good wine and cheese.
