Double Rooms in Canada Water
(Please ensure you read the full description below!)
Hello!
I’m Gabi, I’m in my mid 20s looking for two housemates (female preferred) to join me in an amazing flat in Canada Water.
Both the girls I was sharing the flat will leave in June. One was here for 3 years but changed jobs and wants to be closer to work, the other was here for 8 years and is moving to a studio. I’ve been in the property for 2 years.
Please read on to find out more about me and the flat!
The house:
I like to call this place home, which means working together to keep it very clean and tidy. The flat actually does look as great as in the pictures, so really am looking for someone who will help keep it as amazing as it is!
As you might’ve gathered, I’m on the hunt for someone who's organised, clean, and respectful towards everyone (this isn't a party house). This is the place where we will rest and relax, where we can unwind after a long day at work, and leave any socials for weekends. I’m ideally looking for someone who is proactive and will put effort into contributing to things around the house, as we’ll share all duties equally.
I’m very open and friendly, value good communication. Always open for a chat when sharing the living room for any meals or chill times. Appreciate we all have our own thing going on as well, so this is the place for someone who won't be a stranger, but is equally independent.
The rooms:
The room is a small double and comes fully furnished with a built-in wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a shelf, as well as some storage underneath the bed.
*Please note that sadly the room wouldn't suit someone who works from home due to the size*
The other room is a larger Double bedroom, comes fully furnished
*worth noting some of the furniture in the photo is owned by the current tenant, I will advise what stays in flat viewings*
Rent and bills:
The monthly rent is £660pcm for the smaller room, £725pcm for the larger room and bills come around £150 pcm (this includes internet, water, gas, electricity and council). Deposit is £619,83 (smaller room) and £680,83 (bigger room).
We currently have a rolling 18-months contract through an agency. Please note that employment references will be checked, so we cannot take students in unfortunately.
Train access:
Canada Water (Jubilee Line and Overground) - less than 5 minutes by walk. Surrey Quays overground - than 5 minutes by walk.
Amenities:
Surrey Quays Shopping Centre with Tesco Extra is just 7 minutes by walk. But don't worry, if you're feeling extra lazy there is also a Sainsbury's just 3 minutes away!
If you're all about a healthy lifestyle, the Seven Island Leisure Centre with gym and a swimming pool is just opposite the flat. We also have amazing yoga studios just a short walk from the house.
When the sun is out, there are two massive parks in the nearby where you can have a run or just enjoy the good weather.
Do you fit in the housemate description and do I fit yours? Should that be the case, I’d love to hear from you!
The rooms are officially available from June 15th, but the move in date can be a bit earlier if needed, so do get in touch with a bit about yourself and we can arrange a viewing!
