Garden room for rent

3.3m x 3.3m (internal space - standard double size) garden room for rent. Furnished with double bed, shelves, open wardrobe, desk, heater etc.

Built 10 years ago, this room was initially used as an office. I've had three lodgers here in the past 7 years, the longest staying for 4 years before leaving to go travelling.

The room is well insulated, with internet access, power etc. You will have your own space separate from the house with full access to all amenities in the house, including shared living room, kitchen & garden. This does, however, mean you have to walk across the garden to use the loo - reflected in a cheaper rent than other rooms in the area. There is heaps of storage space in large, dry attic if needed. A bike shed in garden and your own access through the garden gate.

I own and live in the house with my 11 year old son, who is with me half the time (I share care with his father) and two cats.. A garden room gives you space away from any family dynamics (pretty minimal), but ideally you would like children & cats :). I work full time (academic) - half at home & half at office, am vegetarian/pescatarian (although my son eats meat), left politics, into art, alternative film/music. Great if you had similar interests/values.

Happy to consider short term lets, for slightly higher rent.
