Hi All,
About me/housemates
I’m andy, 31, gay man. I have lived in Ealing for 5 years, it’s really safe waking around, lots of parks nearby and there are lots of great resteraunts. The connections are great with the Elizabeth line getting into central London in 20 mins. I work at a university looking after research grants, I bought the house a year ago.
My other housemate James 26 works in television, he’s worked on the coronation, Britain’s got talent, Eurovision.
We tend to do our own things but we have had a couple of nights out and drinks together in the house, dominoes pizza etc.
About the room
Small single room that comes with a built in wardrobe, It back onto the garden and gets the sun in the morning. All bills included so 650, obviously that includes reasonable use of gas, electricity, Includes council tax band D.
About the house
it’s down a nice Cul De Sac, with no houses opposite. It’s on the new Elizabeth line so it takes 15 minutes to Paddington and in a couple of months around 20 mins to Bond Street, Tottenham Court Road and was the main reason that attracted me. We have an ice cream truck that comes down the street about once a week in summer and on Diwali you can watch all the fireworks from the garden.
The front of the house looks onto gardens and the back onto a railway track. The house has a separate living room and kitchen with television, wifi and sofa etc. I work upstairs in my room and work from home 4 days a week and tend to just stay up there whilst I’m working. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. Everything upstairs has been renovated with new carpets, electrics, bathroom.
Kitchen is small and a bit dated and next year I would like to renovate. it backs onto the garden which is nice to sit out on with the warm weather. I have a small cat called Napolean.
About the area
There is a gym 15 minute walk away called 'Golds' It has a swimming pool, sauna, running and weights. I think it's £30 a month. Next door there is a large Aldi, there is also a large Waitrose 15 mins away and a large sainsbury 20 mins away. The Drayton Arms has the largest beer garden in West London and is very nice.
