An opportunity to move into this stunning and cosy two bedroom apartment in central Fulham.
I’m truly sad to be moving out of this gorgeous little home, but unfortunately my work means I have been travelling internationally far too much to warrant London living. You will therefore be taking on my rental agreement, which has until April 2025 left on the tenancy, but with easy options for extension beyond that.
You will be living with Emily, who is the kindest, most fun and friendly housemate. She has been in the flat for three years and manages all the bills and any issues with maintenance with the landlord and letting agents (both of whom are very quick-responding, friendly and supportive). I’m terribly sorry to no longer live with Emily, as she’s simply wonderful and has become a good friend. She respects personal space, but is also sociable, a wonderful cook, wine connoisseur, talented gardener and very easy going.
The room is a modest, but well-catered one with desk, large wardrobes, book shelves, chest of drawers and a very comfortable king sized bed.
We have a lovely, green back yard with table and chairs, which catches the sun throughout the day - perfect for coffee and brunch in a London summer.
The flat is just a block away from Fulham Palace, which its expansive park and Thames walkway. There are numerous amenities in the area, with boutique cafes, restaurants, grocers and pubs within easy walking distance.
A five minute walk from Putney Bridge station and ten minutes from Parsons Green, with regular District Line trains running from Wimbledon through to Central London and the City.
We are looking for a friendly, respectful, young professional, who will be clean-living, but sociable. This room would be very well suited to someone who works in London, but enjoys a quieter part of the city, as Fulham is a distinctly relaxed bastion away from the hustle and bustle of the centre. Ideal for someone who enjoys walks along the river, runs in the park, a pint at the local pub, sharing the occasional meal and glass of wine together and the odd “garden party” in the yard, surrounded by the plants and flowers.
All bills included (including council tax, WiFi, water, electricity), fully furnished throughout the flat with TV, new dishwasher, washing machine, bath/shower, bed, etc.
