Double Bedroom in 2 Bed Flat, Centre of Greenwich

1 room available from end of Nov '14 (earliest) or Dec'14 / Jan '15. The flat is very close to Greenwich railway station:

- London Bridge, (8 mins)
- Cannon St (12 mins)
- Waterloo East (12 mins)
- Charing Cross (17 mins)
- DLR to Canary Wharf (11 mins).

There are 2 bedrooms and the room available (pictured) has a bedside table and wardrobe / storage space. It is a quiet room as faces the garden and is on the 2nd floor of a Victorian conversion.

There is 1 (shared) bathroom (bath and power shower) and a 'compact' kitchen - anyone with Masterchef aspirations may be disappointed! The plan is to get some additional seating for the living room. There is TV and Broadband. The flat is light and airy, 549 sq ft/ 51 sq meters. Our building is secure and has a lovely cleaner that comes once a week. There are 3 other flats in the building. Kitchen has all mod cons except a dishwasher(!).

I am around 3-4 days in the week and every other weekend usually, but can vary. I am new to being a live in landlady as have been living partially elsewhere, so will be moving in (properly) too.

Happy to do this as a genuine flat-share and talk about furniture requirements, i. e. the 'bonding' flat mate Ikea trip, as it is fairly minimal at the moment.

About me - I love Greenwich, work in the city, though quite keen to get out of there once the day is done, am fairly active and have a busy social life. I like exploring the area's restaurants, bars, comedy nights, Greenwich Picture House, theatre, live music and of course, the food market!

I am typically easy going as long as we can communicate re: other people round/parties/bills. Average mess-threshold, a flat mate that is relaxed, mature but fun and perhaps open to socialising occasionally will be the the ideal.

There is on-street parking with a permit. No garden access and no pets, sadly.

In the past, the dynamic of living with a gay guy seemed to work best for some reason, however don't wish to generalise and am open to seeing what might work...
